This is Bruce Lee demonstrating his one inch punch. This footage was taken in June 24th 1972. This is a very rare and raw footage of Bruce Lee showing his one inch punch true power. Bruce Lee also explained that kicking is much more powerful than punching because our leg is capable of producing more power than our hands. Therefore he showed his true kicking speed and power. You can also see Bruce Lee performed his most powerful and damaging sidekick in front of millions of television viewers in this footage. The guy in the karate suit flew a few feet backward. And yes, the 7 year-old kid in this video was Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee's son.

I graduated HS in 72 and I remmeber seeing this demo on TV. Bruce was the greatest man. There is a conspiracy right now in the 'west' started by UFC former and retired champ Micheal Bisping and the MMA dumb 'racist' fan base; to bring the name of Bruce Lee down by saying he was a fake, we dont know how good he was because no one has ever seen him fight, he was cocaine addict etc etc. Just horrible things! When the majority of them wer not even born yet when Bruce was here on earth. I was! I was around in the Bruce Lee era. A wonderful time to be a martial artist. I have been at it since I was 11 and now in my late 60s and still train in a few martial arts. I competed back in the 70s. But most of these YT clowns are a bunch of kids who know nothing but how to weakily and unconvincingly decieve people who wanna think like them. Very easy to do now a days because people have no sense of history nor read nor took to primary sources of people still alive that knew the work of Bruce Lee. Bruce; RIP brother!

I believe Bruce would of still been alive to this day he trained exercised every single day of his life he was a very health conscious person drinking at least 2 protein shakes every single day no doubt the man cared about his health even mr Bolo yeung the Chinese hulk at 76 year's old still in phenomenal shape for his age still trains exercise everyday these are the guys that movies that inspired and motivated me to start my training in martial arts 🥋 in taekwondo at 11 years old best thing i ever did thank you gentlemen.

The “one inch punch” is a great way to learn about body mechanics and how to get power in a short distance. I have sat many a larger man on their butts with it, and I have never used full power on a person.

It takes a lot of explosive power and precision to break two pieces of wood hanging and not holding firm by others. Thus far, I see only Bruce Lee dared to perform this. Most black belt will fail if attempt the same.
