They have managed to improve a lot in the last 2 years. I too check it out every once in a while to see what's improved. But I'm glad that they are keeping it in preview instead of shipping a broken product.
Curious to see how it improves further. Has a lot of potential for sure.

If you rename (F2) a tag in VSCode, it'll change the end tag as well.

To Open the terminal in jetbrains fleet, i think you can press CTRL and `

I found it and test it a bit month ago. It is really fast with clean intuitive UI, but I got some strange bugs with debugger ( on nodejs) when it crashed during examining deeply nested jsons and then the debugger didn't work until I close and start Fleet again. Also I haven't found any convenient way to run mocha tests with debugger.

well, i have tried fleet out for a bit but the first problem i ran into is that i dunno how to add a run configuration!! but i still do like the IDE because i really like the simplicity
i'm coding using Kotlin and i don't know how to add a run config because all the different things i did didn't work

What’s wrong with the terminal in VS? Works fine for me. What is missing?

I dont understand the point of this ide if you have IntelliJ ultimate + rider you can work on any language actually and with a far better integration, they should put their efforts to improve the IA instant

Light years from even a simple nvim config

How is this editor similar to my ex? They both consume more resources than they should and don't get the job done.

You running on a potato? 😂. Switching between solution and files is almost instantaneous in vs and code (perhaps it might be longer on bigger projects)

Regardless, love the videos, keep em coming!

my humble opinion: nvim > vscode > notepad++ > fleet
