The multiple desktop feature is new to Windows. But this is a head shaker for me.
Let me explain. 15 years ago... yes, that's right. 15 years ago I installed Linux on my computer for the first time. I was shocked with the amazing features that it had - all for absolutely free. no cost. One of the many, many features I first noticed was the ability to work on multiple desktops. So yes, Linux had multiple desktops 15 years ago. Perhaps it was around a lot longer than that. But that is when I first started using it. There are many other features that Linux had way before Windows, which convinced me early on that Linux is light years ahead of Windows.
But one of the "features" of Windows 10 that is quite concerning is the serious privacy violations. By default it monitors every keystroke, every letter you type, every password you enter at every "secure website" and it sends that data to Microsoft for "data mining", research, and surveillance.
It also effectively bugs your home by using the microphone at all times supposedly user the guise of a digital assistant, Cortana, and it sends all that " audio data" to Microsoft as well.
furthermore, Microsoft has upgraded it's privacy policy to enable them to disclose that data to anyone they see fit. That includes law enforcement, or anyone else they want to. That is the legal agreement that everyone agrees to, but nobody reads.
