Ranking How USELESS Peach is in Every Mario Game

Princess Peach is bipolar. In some media, she's OP and is more useful than Mario, but in others, she avoids helping at all costs.

Today, we look at Princess Peach in every single mainline mario game and rank her from worthless to elite.

Actually, Peach in SMB3 isn't kidnapped until after you clear World 7. During most of the game, she remains safe in the Mushroom Kingdom's castle and sends powerups to Mario and Luigi, whom she sent to the troubled kingdoms as envoys

A lot of roles for Peach in the RPG games were left in the dark

In paper mario she's responsible for locating the first 5 star spirits and sometimes have Twink relay them to Mario. She can also collect items and badges, and give them to Mario via a special treasure chest. Finally at the final battle she made a wish to the spirits to increase their power, which allows them to match Bowser's strength... Eh I say she's pretty darn useful despite being kidnapped.

In Super Paper Mario she's one of the heroes in the game, and plays quite a huge role as a result - including having to be the active hero to enter Francis's room!

Super Mario Bros 2 is a GOATED game from start to finish, BEYOND UNDERRATED, and the people who were calling it weird in a negative way can eat their words now that we Mario fans want something new and fresh. It had complex levels, different gameplay and had PEACH AS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER for the first time and it stayed like that for 25 YEARS (1988 TO 2013)

I honestly really like peach when she’s not useless. In most mario fames she’s really boring but whenever she plays a more active role I really like her. The best examples of this are the early Paper Mario games, with her being playable in Super and TTYD and 64, despite being kidnapped, made active effort to help Mario from within where she could go. I love that characterisation far more then what she usually gets, and it doesn’t even feel out of character for how she usually acts. That’s probably why Movie peach worked for me. It was a bit of an over correction and she doesn’t have her daintiness there which I feel characterises her in every other thing she’s in, but I still enjoyed her in that film.

I guess what I’m saying is thag I just want more from her instead of _just_ being the damsel in distress, and I like the games that do that.

I debatably think peach is beter than rosalina because in the speedrun, she can cancel her cat pounce before she lands (letting go of the attack button) and conservative the soeed of her pounce momentum into her float.
