""I can fly but I stopped because it made the other horses jealous"".

It should be required watching for highschools and elementary schools, every kind of support group and group session. This is so good which is why it won BAFTA awards and theres something really nurturing and safe about this.

I've seen people make fun of the movie and call it trash because it's just quotes but to me this movie is a lesson for everyone to help them through harsh and terrible times. To think back to when you were a child and how we all had to grow up. I find it sad how many people are making fun of the movie.

" the fox never really speaks "
" it's lovely he's with us...."
this line hit me so hard. i was a very introverted child and hated being around people, i still do but my family would still everything they could to include me in things that they knew i would be comfortable with even if i didn't say much or anything at all.

You missed the part I loved the most- “ what is the bravest thing you ever asked?”, and the horse replies “Help.”
That part literally shook me to the core.

The horse oftentimes gives me fatherly vibes. He's patient, protective, gentle and understanding. The fox has something of a teenager, trying to be independent but being insecure at times, like he is still figuring himself out. And the mole has a thing for cake.

This movie broke me, and put me back together, a little bit better than I was before. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm healing. And we all need kindness. To quote a line from the book that didn't make it into the movie (at least not from what I remember): we often wait for kindness... but being kind to yourself can start now.

Remember too, that this story was written in the Height of the pandemic; when so many people never felt so alone in their lives!

Me and every member of my family received the book from my grandfather, a gift he left to each of us when he died each with a personalized note in the cover, I don't read the book enough, always makes me cry, but for all the right reasons.

Home isn't always a place! It took me 40 years to realize that and it was so freeing and amazing to discover that I Am always Home🕊

Haven't watched the whole video through yet, but I wanted to leave a comment and a like to help the YouTube algorithm bring this movie, and your earnest reaction to more people. As a 29 year old man, this movie touched me deeply and I'm so glad to see it impact others in a similar way. Thank you for taking the time to react to this and I will certainly be subscribing!

So happy to finally learn who is behind these lessons. How very cool. I’m 70 and this just sings to my heart.

I love the fox so much. I empathize with him. Especially with the not thinking I have anything interesting to say. And the clips from the movie make me cry every time.

I got my grandson this book for his birthday, it’s one off those he’ll be able to keep forever. It will become a classic in time.

The boy asks "what is the hardest thing to say ?"
"Help. Asking for help is the hardest thing to say."

That section was telling us it is okay to seek help. We're told we are adults and should know how to do everything. So we fear asking for help.

I ran across this story, accidentally on a shorts video. I cried, and every time I see it, it touches my heart. I went and looked it up the book which is fine but more people should see the video of it. It’s the best. I agree that this is a must see for all!!

The part where the fox speaks about his mind when the horse explains that his presence itself is enough for the group hit close to my heart. The way it is potrayed is beautiful and the essence of it reaches the viewers.❤
