Cyndi should have been way bigger than what she was...I mean she was a huge star in the 80's but she should have been bigger.

All these early performances really show the natural talent of these artists. No hiding behind backup singers or lip syncing. Just raw talent.

I DJ'd a benefit for her once and she was the sweetest most gracious person I've ever worked for -and I worked my ass off for her. Toward the end of the night I played the original version of this because she obviously loves this song lol and she jumped on a table and started dancing and we sang the background vocals to each other during the chorus. It was one of the greatest moments spinning I've ever had. Classy lady.

I'll always love her. Once upon a time, back in the 80's... I was a simple guy with few interesting things to make, apart of playing basketball. Then, a day that could had been like any other, my friend was nervous and he made me hurry come up to his bedroom where he had his BIG and great Stereo with two cassette players. He introduced his Cyndi Lauper's cassette. He pressed Play. We waited for some seconds and then... At the same time the lights on the equalizer filled all of the lights, and the music started playing Girls just want to have fun. Something unforgettable.

When she rips her beret off and that fiery mane of hers is unleashed – one of my favourite Cyndi moments! Iconic! <3

This so surreal. Qunicy Jones just passed away and I just came from Cyndi Lauper's Farewell concert. 2 legends who we will never see or hear from again. May Quincy Rest in Peace and may Cynid Lauper enjoy retirement.

Cyndi Lauper is probably the most talented female artist the last 100 years.

I really love how much of a character she was, always putting on that Betty Boop persona while still never missing a beat
