Cyndi's part was my favorite part of the song. Her 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, YEAH!' Iconic!

We all saw the clip. Cyndi was the first person to say it was her jewellery that was interfering with the sound and they all told her no, they made her redo her part over and over before saying yes it was her jewellery. So how was SHE a pain to work with?

Cyndi's part on "We are the World" kept the song from being "one note". They absolutely needed her for the bridge. It's hard to see the bridge working if she hadn't added the "yeah, yeah, yeah" part.

I just love how polite she is. She aswers the question looking straight at the camera, as if she was looking in the eyes of the guy that made the question.

Quincy Jones is a liar. A lot of the artists complained about the song. I remember Billy Joel saying something. Here it is: "Most of us who were there didn't like the song, but nobody would say so. I think Cyndi Lauper leaned over to me and said, 'It sounds like a Pepsi commercial.' And I didn't disagree."

I saw the clip of Cyndi recording the song with other artists. Everyone in the studio think she is a pain and also a joke, but guess what, her voice overpowered everyone else, that's my first impression when I heard the song first time back in 80's. I am really honest because I am not a fan of hers but I have to say she absolutely killed it, her voice is all I can remember from this song.

I watched all the behind the scenes videos and she was a TOTAL sweetheart. Yes, her necklaces were a little problem, and she was 100% gracious we could not have been cooler.

There were two huge moments in the song: Cindy with her delightful energy and beautiful voice and the part when Bruce sings with Steve Wonder. They absolutely rocked!

She added so much to that song. I couldn't imagine it without her. The song was great for what it was. A song the whole world could sing. It was catchy and you'll never forget it.

Cyndi added a vibe to we are the world that none other could, she did it perfectly. I watched their gruelling a.m stunt and pulling it off was not an easy feat, for all of them....but yeah, Cyndi nailed her part. Perfectly.

Her solo is what elevated the song above and BEYOND.
