Lionel did NOT say they should have chosen Madonna over Cyndi. He said they should have asked Madonna to do the song. Talk about twisting someone’s words. Honestly, though, what else is he supposed to say??? Madonna simply would not have had a solo part with that bunch of best-in-the-biz vocalists.
