The Batman Part 2 is Adapting No Mans Land Reportedly

The Batman: Part II is an upcoming superhero film and the second installment of The Batman Universe, based on the DC Comics superhero of the same name. The film is a sequel to The Batman and The Penguin. The film is set to be released on October 2, 2026.

This is the first time Gotham has felt like a dangerous and entirely corrupt living, breathing city on screen.

The Batman
- Year One
- The Long Halloween
- Earth One volumes 1 and 2
- No man’s land (ending)
The Penguin
- The Dark Victory
The Batman Part 2
- No Man’s Land

I personally hope they adapt “Cacophony”. It would fit the story going on here with how grounded it is and a gang war would make sense since that’s what Penguin is setting up, Batman stopping a gang war with a new drug on the streets, most likely Penguin and someone else, probably Maroni. Meanwhile a vigilante hunter is on the loose hunting Batman. Maybe the Hunter could be Azreal or something.
The other story I want to see adapted is “the war on jokes and riddles” we already have Riddler and Joker acquainted.

A no man’s land for BatMan part 2? How fascinating and interesting I wonder if the villain for BatMan part 2 will be Earth Mover from BatMan Beyond, I mean he was disturbing as hell when he became a corpse Earth Mover because of the close up shot.

I'd like to see them do a take on "Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth" for the sequel. They've already set up Riddler and Joker being imprisoned together and so they just need to use the rest of The Penguin and then the Gotham PD series to set up Two Face. With the first half of the sequel movie dealing with his descent and the 2nd half leading Batman to deal with a riot in Arkham arising from Dent's arrival as an inmate there.

ooh No Man Land would be great to adapt. Noland's Dark Knight Rises was Bane breaking Batman and bat's return. An NML movie adaptation would need Batman rogues gallery dividing Gotham; and, the Bat, his Bat-Family, and GCPD fighting to re-take Gotham. They could probably get two/three movies out of it if written correctly.

If this was said before The Penguin started, I would say it makes perfect sense. You swap out the earthquake for the flood easy, but they are showing Gotham mostly recovering well in Penguin, so that kind of ruins that theory.

That's pretty ambitious. It'll require a 2 picture deal though as that storyline is quite epic. I'd also love to see them do The Court of Owls as well.

How many times are we going to see the No Man's Land story? Rises and Gotham already did it By blowing up the bridges. Seriously, these writers are just lazy. So much material to use and they just keep going back to the same shit over and over.
