I understand why they cut this scene, it would have immediately diminished the threat and impact of the Riddler, knowing a better scarier villain is right around the corner.

"Maybe he's a fan of yours?". I like how the Joker seems like he is trolling Batman, but instead, he actually gave Batman the right answer straight away.

How do we know if he’s “damaged” if he doesn’t have “damaged” tattooed on his forehead?

"You're so much more fun" is such a Joker thing to say. I love how most of Batman's main villains don't want to kill him cause thanks to Batman, they have a sense of purpose in their lives

I love this interpretation because it gets one thing right - Joker is someone who understands Batman on a ridiculously deep level.

This makes the joker scene that made it into the movie so much better knowing that he's already seen riddlers psych profile and knows EXACTLY what to say and what buttons to push to manipulate and recruit him. Matt Reves put on a masterclass 👏

"You're terrified because you're not sure he's wrong, you think they deserved it, huh?"
These mental games Joker plays are what makes him one of my favorite characters

I love how each actor is taking Joker to just another level..first it was Heath then Phoenix and now I think Barry would do an incredible job. The saga of Batman is in safe hands..thanks to Matt Reeves.

I love how you can feel that the Batman is somewhat unnerved by the joker, funny considering Joker's the only person who isn't unnerved by Batman

One thing I love is how Joker is blurry for Batman, but Batman is crystal clear for Joker. Batman has yet to understand Joker, but Joker has already figured out Batman.

R.I.P heath ledger, this joker actor had that little hint of the legend in his voice and laugh

I love how disgusting he looks and how Batman seems on edge around him for once

I like this take on the Joker... he genuinely comes across like a demented serial killer. Considering the darker nature of this Batman film, I think his take is a perfect fit for whatever they have brewing

Batman meets the Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, and Carmine Falconi in this film. All dangerous people but here you can tell just by the way he’s acting, not taking his eyes off and zero focused in, THIS is the most deadly individual he’s ever and probably will ever meet.

That last laugh at 4:56 is one of the best I’ve ever heard, imagine hearing that at night with this in your house

I cannot help but love his laugh so much. To me, it sounds like the kind of laugh one would hear from a child, mischievous but full of innocence, yet, coming from the joker, the laugh shifts to being very sinister and eerie.

An amazing scene that I'm so glad was cut. It would've distracted us from Paul Dano's Riddler, but I genuinely can't wait to see what they do with this Joker. Barry Keoghan's Joker has a lot of potential.

The most frightening thing about this scene is one has to wonder how terrible Joker's crimes were in this universe for him to not only be locked in Arkham. Not only locked behind a glass cell to talk to Batman but also to be handcuffed on top of all of that. I mean we see how terrifying Riddler is here, I don't wanna even imagine the brutality of this Joker. His voice is so soft here which shows his manipulative nature of sounding so calm and toned back when you know his violence is just waiting to be unleashed.

Also I would like to point out something that gives chills down my spine as well. This Joker is so good at reading Batman even though he is wearing a mask and staying (trying anyways) as calm as possible so if he can read a vigilante with his identity hidden so well just imagine how quickly he can read everyone else.

"You're not sure he's wrong, huh? You think they deserved it, huh? " This quote hit the spot... The silence in Batman. Like wtf,  it really demonstrates why these two are such awesome characters. The line between them is so thin! I love it

Well, that had some likes, thx I guess
(What I meant to say is that the joker can easily guet into batmans mind because deep down batman kinda understand and have simpathy for the reason's why the joker and the ridler are the way they are, thats only my pov doe)

Omg the end is amazing. "You're not sure if he's wrong. You think they deserved it". Wow, that speaks so much to his character throughout the film from telling Selina her friend didn't make good choices, and to Gordon when he said: "he crossed a line". This scene should have been in the film.
