🎞 About The Batman Part II 🎞

The Batman leaves our hero and Gotham City in a unique position that no other Batman film has attempted. While Bruce Wayne may have foiled The Riddler's plans to eliminate Gotham's mayor-elect Bella Reál, the city itself is completely submerged underwater.

What do you guys think about the reports of Clayface being a big part of The Batman 2? 🦇 Comment below!💥

I think a Clayface that leaned hard into horror/fantasy superpowers would be that much frightening BECAUSE the first movie was grounded. We now believe that characters are bound by rules of reality, suddenly facing a monster could be terrifying.

I like the idea of clayface being a high roller actor who frequents Penguin's club, gets into debt with him, then gets his face messed up as a punishment. Leading to his addiction to the chemical cream. Then as Batman follows his crime trails, clayface is following him disguised as other people throughout the movie.

I’d like to see them introduce Scarecrow’s fear toxin to justify the fantastical elements in Matt Reeve’s “grounded” movies.

I'd love to see the Court of Owls, but at the same time, I want them to save the Court of Owls for a later film where Bruce has far more experience and is on top of his game.

I love the villain combo of Clayface and Two-Face. It feels unique.

Clayface is definitely not forgotten for anyone that plays the Batman videogames either. He was an instrumental villain and the big twist of Arkham City. The greatest role of the century!

God I really can't stress enough how perfect a shapeshifter is for a detective villain absolutely perfect

I really want scarecrow as a main villain for one of these movies

I think people look over the fact that the penguin exists in this universe and Matt reeves himself said he’s gunna be a big part of things moving forward and that Matt Reeves wants this to be his big crime epic story. So I think this second one may have a lot to do with what the penguin is doing as well. We will definitely know more when the Penguin show comes out so

In the Batman movie when he says “I’m Vengeance”
What if in The Batman 2 he says “I Am The Night”
And the Batman 3 he says: “I Am Batman”

The iconic line 🦇 R.I.P. Kevin Conroy

Mr. Freeze or Clayface can be really good options for The Batman 2, if done correctly. Lotta great themes and ideas to explore from using those 2 villians as a springboard.

i would love to see the eraser play a role. he was a pretty cool b-grade villian that never got his due. a person that can "erase" all evidence of a crime is such a cool concept

I think once they’ve done Clay Face that could open the door for more powered villains such as Poison Ivy, I think she’d fit really well in this universe but that’s probably just me.

I always thought that a Hush storyline with Clayface, Mad Hatter, and Dagget being sub villains would be a good storyline to bring the Bruce Wayne persona more into the picture.

i feel like we'll get something similar to what happened in The Batman (animated show) with clay face. A normal person who was at the wrong place, wrong time turned into a monster filled with confusion and fear who then just goes insane even while attempting to get help for his condition.

I still remember seeing clayface in TAS for the first time, he was scary, beautifully animated, and made you fear for Batman's safety. Watching Batman get stuffed inside of clayface, and clayface pushing his face back inside his torso to smother him to death....that would be wild to see in Batman 2.

Black mask would fit perfectly in Reeves universe. I don't know why more people aren't saying him

Hope they emphasize the horror of Clayface and other villains. He has great body horror potential.

I’ve been saying Scarecrow and Clayface would be the perfect villains for the sequel. Crane could even be the one whom experimented on Clayface:

- One looks like a monster but is a tragic victim. Fear wouldn’t cut it, Hope would be needed.

- The other looks like a weak human but it is a true monster and masters the tool Batman once relied on. Fear would be useless and there’d be no hope.
