Surviving Your first 14 Days | Complete Beginners Guide

This is a beginners guide for players starting rimworld and how to survive the first month. In part 1, we looked at setting up your rimworld game, choosing your ideology, how your ideology impacts the game and colonist selection. This part focuses on what to do during your first month in rimworld, what to build, what crops to plant and many other things to help you survive and thrive in this harsh survival game.

This is done with 0 mods to emulate the new player experience and using Cassandra Classic on "Adventure Story" Difficulty, which is very manageable for new players.

My first successful colony are individualist and the most productive year I had was actually owning a slave specialising in cleaning, hauling and cooking lol. Massive debuff due to the ideology.

Will start my next game soon because one of the OG colonist is having constant nervous breakdowns and actually shoot other colonist. Had to disarm my best rifleman and she is confined to her room, refrigerator and recreational games. It’ll be too sad to put get down.
