I am in the upper 40s. Started playing tennis and it took a toll on my knees. Went to the doctor and he prescribed diclofenac. Taking four pills (1500mg each) of turmeric had better results for me than 75mg of diclofenac twice daily. I could tell my digestive system was not the same with diclofenac. Turmeric is a very powerful anti-inflammatory. It works very well for me. I have been symptom free for over eight months now.

My doctor had me taking meloxocam for years, I stopped taking it and started turmeric a year ago and it definitely has helped this arthritic 69 year old man.

I’ve been taking Turmeric for about 6 years. I feel that it has helped in that my arthritis has not progressed as much as I was told it might. Turmeric, along with gym workouts and
walking. a good balanced diet and common sense is my answer. At 77 I walk around 20 miles a week.

Turmeric for me is a life saver in my early 50's five years ago I had what I thought was a severe case of stiff neck. It turns out I was diagnosed with severe arthritis in my neck as well as two degenerative disk's. I was told to go to therapy and if that did not work take large doses of ibuprofen for the rest of my life. Well I looked up what I can take naturally and turmeric can up in almost every search. So I went to Costco and bought the Brand Youtheory and almost immediately the pain subsided not a little but 100%. Now my diagnosis has not changed medically but I can tell any on this site that I am 100 % pain free for the five years since my diagnosis. Praise God for giving man the wisdom to produce holistic forms of plants and their roots to heal our bodies of this horrific pain of arthritis.

My mom has severe arthritis. She doesn't like to take meds and has suffered a lot. She says turmeric definitely helps the pain. My brother also takes it and says he can tell that it helps him.

I have been taking Tumeric, Ginger, and Moringa and I have definitely had a reduction in arthritis pain. My right middle finger would cramp into a claw and I would have to straighten it out many times a day and night, after just 3 weeks of taking Moringa the cramping stopped entirely! I take a smoothy 5 mornings a week with as many anti-inflammatories as I can think of and still getting around OK at 71.

Thanks for these videos. You are one (actually two) of the presenters who provide scientific evidence without promoting products that you financially benefit from. Thank you for that. It gives me confidence in the information you provide.

I have been taking it for a couple of years and it definitely helps me, when I quit taking it my joints ache. I have tried going off of it a couple of times and each time the joint pain seems to return. Apple cider vinegar pills seem to have the same effect.

Your information on turmeric seems correct. What makes it work better is the addition of ginger (fresh if you have it), black pepper helps to absorb the turmeric, garlic, and put it all in bone broth for a morning drink. I also add other stuff to make it more soup-like. This concoction makes my aches and pains minimal. (I am 69 years old and a triathlete by history).

I have psoriatic arthritis for the last 15 years, and have been taking tumeric everyday for about 10 years. Definately helps a lot with the pain side of things, first 3-4 years i was on naproxen for the pain, i could barely walk down stairs in the morning. Now on no painkillers of any kind. I feel like it's a long haul kind of thing, also have tried the more expensive curcumin varients which i found made no difference to just taking plain old tumeric. I would say tho that it is very important to take tumeric with some fat as it helps the body absorb better, even just a bit of toast with butter. 1000mg a day in caps form and 1tsp powdered form in my chick curry twice a week does the trick for me. General tips for arthritis:- Avoid processed foods, if you can't cook then learn, can be fun btw :). Stay active even if it is sore to move, i work in construction(heavy work) and i am in in more pain on my days off. Stay positive, B vitamin complex will help with this. Singapore style noodles you say, i'll have to give em a try ;)

I have used turmeric and it did have an mild anti inflammation properties but what turmeric really did was stop GERĎ. It repaired whatever damage was caused by the almost hourly acidic wash.

My husband started taking Turmeric with added Piperine for painful joints. It did help the painful joints but a wonderful side effect was the psoriasis on his hands completely disappeared as well. We had been trying different prescription meds - he no longer uses any of them :)

30 year old male with degenerative hip issues. I’ve been taking turmeric for about 3 years. I’m allergic to NSAID pain relievers, so I use the turmeric as an anti inflammatory. Personally, I feel like it has been doing well for me. I get mine through Nature’s Sunshine online (not a sponsor, just promoting the product that works for me). I’m not a professional by any means, but I do believe that turmeric has been helping me deal with my inflammation and pain.

I have been taking Turmeric Curcumin 500mg, one in the morning and one at night, for 2 1/2 years and it seems to be helping and I feel has helped keep the pain to a minimum. I will add that any more than that will give me diarrhea, so I’m very careful not to exceed the 1000mg per day. Thank you for the presentation, it’s nice to hear your thoughts on all of the subjects you present !

I’m glad to hear this. I’ve been suffering from pretty advanced osteoarthritis for more than a decade, with particularly bad pain in my lower spine, my shoulders, and my hips. A couple of years ago, someone told me to take turmeric capsules daily to deal with the pain. For about six months, I took the recommended amount every day. I didn’t notice any effect at all on my joint pain. No reduction in pain whatsoever. No increase in the amount of time I could stand and walk. I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t working for me. This video does a good job of explaining why that is.

I tried it because my sister claimed that it helped her back and hip pain. It did nothing for my hip pain and it was very irritating y my stomach so I will stick with Tylenol and or ibuprofen. Thanks for sharing another great video 👍😊
