Yes is really sad we had damage as well I just thank god to be a live my wife was by herself at home I was at work a tree feel on top of our car crushed it and then five minutes later another tree fell on top of our house my wife went to the kitchen and then the entire ceiling came down in our living room I thank god for protecting my wife and my son he was trapped in Asheville and it was worse over there god bless everyone

Our area was absolutely beyond unprepared for this and the lack of infrastructure made it so much worse... Never imagined id be using dirty pool water to bathe and flush our toilets etc

Man I live in Florida an get hit all the time, but we r flat theres no rain water rushing down mountains into creeks an turning them into the Amazon river. So sorry for y’all’s loss if theres one thing abt Americans is we r resilient an we bounce back we come together in times like this Y’all will build back stronger like we do hear . I've lived in tornado alley for 20 years and Helene has caused more destruction then any tornado I've ever seen the aftermath of 😢 🙏💗🙏

I live in north Florida and was hit by the eyewall; my heart goes out to the residents of western NC, and eastern TN. You have truly been hit harder than we have.
