I agree, most car websites are not updated/false information

The best bet is to purchase a financial calculator like the TX Instruments BA-II Plus and use the amortization function. It’ll give you exactly what your payments will be by just entering the current price, the term length in months and the APR your bank approved you for or there of the APR the dealership says they’ll give you. If the amount the dealership gives you isn’t within a dollar of what’s showing up on your calculator, either give them the chance to tell you the truth and make the correction, or just get up and walk out.

Getting financed ahead of time and working out the details of the deal over the phone has been a game changer for me. I know and agree with everything that’s going to happen before I get there and I don’t have to spend the entire day at the dealership.

I like your content about cars
knowing more about dealerships is very helpful.

I love living in a city where I don’t need a car. Car dependency in America is a horrible thing…

I found my car online inventory then dove to the dealership and saw it damn near on the showroom floor. Test drove it then drove it home and that was in 2005. She’s still sitting outside looking/running good and only got a little over 200k on it. Had 35k when I bought it and it’s a 2003. Ya feel me!

Be aware of “Leader Ads”, it’s the pricing that brings customers in the Dealership!!

Get invoice and know your OTD before you set foot in the dealership. You can negotiate from there when you see the car.

Then monitor days on lot. Don’t see a car unless it’s been on the lot for 30+ days

Kicker.

Also, their website prices may not reflect market adjustments or ineligible incentives. Always ask for an OTD price.

I learned that last month when I went to Chapman Jeep dealership in Las Vegas. I went on the website and put money down, yet couldn't pick up the vehicle for a week.

I had a dealership tell me once they sold a car I saw in an ad even though the car on the lot had the same v.i.n.

I worked at a car dealer and dealt with inbound and outbound phone calls every day. Customers who’ve called in were always confused as to why the cars are showing online, hence it has to be there and be available. Little do they know that 98% of them were presold units. Why is it posted? Why is it showing… well it becomes available if they customers step back.

Wanna know how much a monthly payment range might be, divide the Sale Price by 72 months!!

Once your answer appears, add 6.25% for Sales Tax, and $345 for TT&L…

Simple math!!

Yeah, I couldn't agree more, bro. 👍
