I can’t believe your dealership lets you do this channel?. You save customers money and empower consumers. Brilliant!

A few years ago I was looking to buy a new truck. The guy used all of the sales techniques. He asked what payment I could afford. After talking about that for a while, I asked for the final price of the truck. I asked a few times and he would give me the run around. I never got the final price of the truck. I walked out because I wasn't comfortable. He lost a sale that day because of that. A few years later I test drove a new truck at a different dealership, same brand. I even told the salesman i probably wouldn't buy. After the test drive we went to his office and the first thing he did was list the price, current discounts and gave me a trade in value for my car. He then gave me the final cost. He treated me well. If I ever decide to buy a truck, I'll go back to that salesman or at least that dealership

I love the silent walk around scene. Chevy dude did a video on this a couple of years ago and it was just as funny then as it is now.

I can't believe it. All this time I thought you were one of a few good guys in the car business. Here you are trying to scam your own wife by under valuing her trade in. Shame on you....LOL

Since my lease has been up for a while now I have been driving rentals and I love it when dealers keep trying to apprise my rentals

More like this! The info and tips are great, but reenacting actual scenarios helps us understand how to process and perform during interactions with salespersons.

THANK YOU! Today during the silent walk around, I walked away and focused on the car I wanted and my decoy car I didnt want. I researched the vehicle! I had notes. I knew what my trade was worth. While outside the dealer, I offered 19500. They gave me two "offers " I said " take off that recondition fee and you have a deal". They tried every which way .I said no I wont budge. I got the car for a total of 21000. Excellent! Thank you

Other guys doing this are saying idiot stuff and I have customers that believe the dumbest things and I can’t close. Your doing this right, I think your the only person doing this that I don’t have an issue with and I’ve sold cars since 2011.

Then what? You should continue with the negotiation example...

“Your mods do not add value to your car” only applies to when your trading in your car. We know full well that a dealership will turn around and try to up sell that traded in “enhanced” car. Dealerships themselves “enhance” their new cars with aftermarket products, which adds value only when the car is new. Which is why, if you have a mod’d out car and want to get more for it, your best bet is private sale or selling it to a specialty dealership.

Great video. Silence is still golden, especially when it comes to sales. Do not play your hand too soon. Let them talk and talk and try to give you their "best deal" and then tell them their best is not good enough and that is when you speak and discuss what you wanted your OTD price to be. Either they bend towards your offer or they break. They have to talk, you do not until you are ready.

Point to a car you want to buy, point to your trade, ask "How much a month, total, for 48 months (or whatever term you want)." When the salesman says you and he will have to go inside to figure it out, talk to manager, etc. give them your name and email address and tell them to let you if/when they can figure out what they are selling the car for. Tell them you are asking other dealers for the same figure and lowest price gets the sale.

I really apreciate you, because of your videos I actually saved thousands of dollars, that they trying to add all these fees. Now I wish we can just deal directly with the manufacturer. But we can only dream. Thanks again, spreading the word.

The amount of personality this guy has makes the videos so fun to watch. Binge watching all of his videos because I'm about to buy my first car from ford. Wish me luck!

I love how they talk down on your sales as if you’re not making money. Yet, you have multiple streams of income (clothing, YouTube, etc.). So even if you don’t make much selling cars the moral and ethical way. You’re still getting the money you “missed out on” if not more. You reap what you sow🤷🏾‍♂️
