They don’t even deserve that much of an explanation....

Inconsistency doesn’t deserve any type of explanation on your part. There’s someone who WILL be consistent and you’ll never have to worry about this type of conversation.

I'm beyond giving a vacant guy a speech. He'll just have to get the lesson as I'm permanently walking away.

This applies to so called friends, family and anyone else that also plays the game of you being their option.

In my humble opinion... People who don't show consistently are never worth your time. You can say something like what Matthew is saying or you can say nothing. At the end of the day, only you will know what the right response is for you to act on. You deserve someone who wants to see and spend time with you 💯

"Hey, listen, some part of me really wants to see you but the reality is you're so inconsistent that Idk what you want. Idk where we stand with each other...and what I want in my life is someone who is consistent. Because I know I have so much to give. What I'm prepared to give someone, what I bring to the table is incredibly valuable and I know that. It's not just something I'm going to give to someone. And I don't feel that with you "

You don't owe them explanation. Let your energy match theirs. They give you nothing, you do the same. This goes for anyone you are in a relationship with. Friends and family included.

Men know what they are dong if he really wanted you he wouldn't of treated you badly in the first place. If i have to continuously teach someone how i should be treated i see it as a red flag. I shouldn't have to explain myself, what they show you is how they feel about you.

Communication is always better than just assuming and going off…

I wouldn’t even give an explanation to a guy who disappears and then reappears. They reappear because they are going through a dry spell. By saying what you’re advising, you are giving manipulative men the roadmap on how to manipulate you into bed at least one more time. A guy that behaves this way is a player. If he was seriously interested, he wouldn’t have been inconsistent in the first place.

They knew all this. They still took it for granted for whatever reason. No explanation needed.

To vent this is ok to get it out for your peace, but when a person is emotionally unavailable and not healed internally its like speaking to a wall..

For all of you who think they don't deserve any explanation:
I always always choose communication even with ass holes folks and I always get results. The outcome could be they just apologize and you part ways but still I always prefer communication.

I feel like this wouldn’t register properly with someone who could be so inconsistent… It might go completely over their head, but I guarantee it would feel good telling them.

Won't be having THAT conversation: no contact!

Usually they know exactly what they are doing.

If he disappears with no explanation, you don’t have to give him any explanation why you don’t want to see him anymore. Simple.

This is smart advice!!!
Personally, I wouldn't say it. I said it once. Now, I would just break it off knowing he wants the oposite.
Now, when they show irresponsible traits I just discount the possibility of anything.
When one wants to be with someone then we will be.
Great advice as always, Matt

If I bother to say this, it’s for me, not for the other person. Sometimes it just helps me to formulate my thoughts and feelings, and to express them. I really couldn’t care less what the person thinks or responds. If I think the person is a narcissist, no way I’m opening up in any way.
