Elon Musk just officially announced Starship will Grow 5 to 10 Meters and MORE...

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk just officially revealed that its monster Starship will grow 5 to 10 meters in the coming years with some huge changes to its booster's launch system for better use of the rockets.
How will all these changes unfold?
Why did Musk make such a decision?
Let’s find out everything in today’s episode of the Alpha Tech channel:

Starting in the mid-20th century, humanity has explored space faster than ever before. We’ve launched satellites, telescopes, space stations, and spacecraft, all strapped to rocket-propelled launch vehicles that helped them breach our atmosphere.

The development of the world's rocket saw significant changes over time, and like all things, it started small and worked its way up to its literal growth alongside better capabilities and power.

Tesla Owners Silicon Valley has recently shared a comparison picture of the "Rockets of the world".

According to the picture, SpaceX Starship is the largest rocket in the present, especially with its full-stack state as it stands above the massive Super Heavy booster rocket that completes the stainless-steel vessel.

Interestingly, CEO and owner Elon Musk replied that the Starship would eventually grow taller in the coming years, approximately five to ten meters in height for its future versions.

It's a notable jump in size from previous versions of the rocket. When Musk initially outlined what was then known as the "BFR" in September 2017, the ship itself measured 46 meters (150 feet) and the whole vehicle measured 106 meters (348 feet). When Musk unveiled the Starship Mk.1 prototype at the Boca Chica facility in Texas in September 2019, complete with its new stainless-steel approach, the ship measured its current 50 meters (164 feet) and the full design measured 118 meters (387 feet).

That really was quality content, how you showed the current state-of-the-art in context with the historical perspective and future plans.

I watch the videos because I love space and I pray for the future of mankind. SpaceX has my support. I mainly comment though, for the algorithm! Let's get this great channel some more likes and subs!

Just hope they don't lose sight of what's most important....safety and mission success, not records.

Finally a breath of fresh air after last week's dismal natural attempt NASA is over go SpaceX

An average of 2 launches a week, that’s insane but I suppose with the true reusability that’s baked into their rockets it just might be doable.

To achieve that cadence they also need similar efficiency gains from the FAA, range support, etc...

One of the Major reasons that Spacex has chosen to "Capture" it's StarShip Boosters is rarely mentioned anywhere. It's the CG. Any good A&P or aeronautical engineer knows you cannot fly if the CG is too far aft, weather it be a Rocket, Airplane, Lifting Body (the Space Shuttle) or a Frisbee. If SpaceX were to add Landing Legs to the SS Booster the change in CG would render it close to unflyable unless there was weight added at the pointy end. Like say, adding 5 to 10 meters to its length would do 😳. CG placement is also gonna have a Huge effect on SS's Upper Stage landing gear design. They may have to stretch it too.

It was the Aggregat 4 (A4) that reached space it's only a Vergeltungwaffe 2 (V2) with Warhead

This is the launch rate that NASA Wanted to achieve with the Shuttle, and possibly could have done so had NASA managers not decided to worry about launch dates rather than vehicle safety. NASA has not exhibited good choices for PM's, who kind of have exhibited "Management vs Labor" attitudes, ignoring their own engineers in favor of "Management Consensus"

If you were an alien observer you would have seen a huge increase in the number of launches. Which would lead them to ask, What have the humans done to allow them to do this? Did they finally get their act together? Which means if you actually have this going on you should see an increase in UFO activity because we bumped their curiosity.

Just gives you an idea of the forward-thinking of SpaceX... Now compare that to the already obsolete SLS....

We need the capability to shrink Distance..just like a frog shoots out his tongue to capture his food...we need a "frog" capable rocket that can propel a "tube/portal" to link Earth...just a thought.

Would have been funny to have the 1944 German flag as the first rocket on the poster lol

Easy is not in Elon's vocabulary. Having a lot of fun watching Elon bring America into outer space again. Started following the American space program in 1959. So sad when it ended. Elon a visionary hiring the right people. NASA still using old technology.

When you send large numbers of people on Starship you need a large empty space.

Sorry but the fact that a phallic structure will grow in size is too much to not comment. 🤣

More bigger = more better. 👍
In all seriousness.
The technology being developed in Starship and Super Heavy will provide SpaceX with unprecedented capability and also versatility.
Guarantee they can make custom vehicle designs with little issues for unique applications.
The future is bright.
