Simple Jig To Notch Small Tubing | Drill Press Tube Notcher | Counterbore Jig

In this video I make a quick (made in less than one hour), simple but effective tube notcher for small tubing (10 mm) and for a drill press. You can always use a milling machine (if you have one) or files (which can be tedious to use). While not perfect, for a first iteration it allows perfect square notching. The next step will be to modify it to notch at a certain angle. Stay safe in the workshop.

hi, what type of electrodes are you using? I have 6013 because thats all what is in store here, but it leaves lot of slag that mixes with metal creating sponge like structures, I want to order some better electrodes for short spot welds like you did in this video.
