The prison was actually called La Catedral(the cathedral) and Pablo never celebrated his 45th birthday inside his prison or like ever because he died at 44

Galán was shown here that he was running for President in 1990, but he was murdered in 1989. It said Escobar was in prison for 5 years, but it was only 13 months. It said Escobar celebrated his 45 birthday in prison, but he was killed the day after he turned 44. They never told him they were going to build a cell, one official said they were gonna transfer him and another said they were gonna change the guard personnel. That’s what caused him to flee
