It makes me happy to see these inmates to interested in their education. I could have easily been in there but I had a compassionate judge. I didn't hurt anyone but I broke the law and was found guilty. Fast forward close to 15 years, now I have 2 degrees and lead a team of 3 working in the legal field. Just sent an offer on my first rental property. Most if not all of these inmates had less opportunity than I had. I always watch these types of documentaries to keep me humble, grounded and focused.

That's what's really fucked about prison. You could be doing everything you need to be doing and some shit happens. And there ain't nothing you can do but ride. Or you won't walk out of the prison on your own free will.
