If your having problems with YouTube in docked mode then go to settings, TV output, then make sure it's set to automatic or stereo NOT mono. You're welcome!

Mine is different as when I play a video in a guest account it works fine but when I try in my main google account it just shows a black screen please help

My daughter and I thank you for this! And YouTube should as well. Nothing like being excited that the wait is over, successfully downloading, to find that it wouldn't work.

Your advice is probably helpful. However, I noticed that mine had been in stereo mode all along. After changing the date and time to real time, the missing YouTube finally came back. Sooo, apparently 2 things need to be in place. Thanks for posting this, it should help others. I really enjoy relaxing with YouTube before I go to sleep each night. 👍🏻

What about fixing the problem of it not evan getting to the video select ? Just saying cant connect to youtube?, just loads for a few seconds and then says it again, and again

Just going to your system settings and change mono to stereo and your YouTube will start running again thanks mr. Guy

i tried turning it off and on, updating it, fixing the time, and changing the sound settings, but it doesnt work. the error message says something went wrong. pls help.

If you have Animal Crossing fix the date if you time skip then YouTube will work

GUYS!! If you dont get playback error and get the ARVHA error code, change and fix your date and time !!!!

My Switch would not play youtube videos. Doesn't even give an error and it was driving me insane. Adjusting date and time solved the issue. I had the wrong date for Animal Crossing
