fix the worn out grinding parts first, that may be all of it. If it's bearings, the car wold roar, louder the faster you drove

the hub/bearing assembly is one piece, which you unbolt and remove and replace as a unit. If you remove the 4 bolts eventually holding it on after removing all the other stuff, and it won't fall out, then hammer it out, they will rust in place over time
