I’m gonna say all the videos I see for mechanics. Thank you for not playing music over what you’re doing and thank you for turning your volume up. It was awesome easy to hear even the slightest sounds.

Not only are you a great mechanic, you’re also a great teacher. I like how the video is straight to the point and is taught to all genres of people with different levels of car knowledge.

You’re very receptive to what your audience will be thinking and how they best learn. Learned this with ease so thank you!

This is the first video that shows an example of the noise that could indicate a bad wheel bearing. It's confirmed my suspicions, thanks for adding that part!

You are a heck of a mechanic. They don’t make good mechanics like you anymore. Fantastic video.

I've seen aLOT of DIY, mechanic help videos online. By "FAR", this gentleman made it very simple, short and has restored all previously lost hope in mechanics out there trying to help us out with online videos. So a huge thank you to him and his shop. I look forward to watching more.

I like how you show the good and bad ones sound like side by side. Love this video.

Great stuff and thank you mate. I have a bearing about to go in my R51 Pathfinder and will give it a check using your wisdom. In the past, my mechanic father did all of this on our cars, but we lost him almost a year ago. Now it's for me to step up to the plate and have a crack. Thanks to generous folk like you, that task is made a lot easier (and safer)! Cheers from Australia - Dave

One of the more useful videos I’ve seen. Thanks for not blasting music, and letting us listen to what’s actually happening.

My 06 Highlander had the ABS cover perforate from rust which caused the bearing to seize. It nearly brought me to a stop. I limped home and replaced both sides, packed the cavity behind the ABS sensors with grease, and it has been fine for a few years. Thanks for sharing!

Dude I never had anyone around to teach me anything about cars, everything I have learned was from bugging people who know about cars and YouTube. Every time I have a problem I haven’t come across, I do a ton of research to understand how the thing works that I am fixing.

Wish I could give you 100 thumbs up, you explained it so well and it usually takes longer than 6 minutes for me to understand what I need to look out for and likely replace. Thank you sir.

My 2004 Camry with 104k miles suddenly started making a sound that sounded JUST like your Toyota Highlander. It was like a weird kinda clunk but the clunk happened at an even pace. Sound got worse with speed. Turning it to the left made it clunk less. Going to my mechanic tomorrow to get it checked out and now I'm armed with this information.

It never occurred to me that that initial grinding noise from a wheel bearing that is SLOWLY starting to go bad was something I actually thought was "normal" when I was driving in the freeway. Glad I went directly home after I heard it start to thump/clunk like that. Thank you!

Thanks for the video. In my quest to do my own general auto maintenance, I rotated my tires using the spare because I’m not sure of the proper jack points of my car to use stands. Anyway, all went as planned and in the process I discovered several loose lugs on two of my wheels. I have been experiencing a shimming while braking for over a year thinking I had warped rotors. Had that checked by a mechanic friend and he said my pads and rotors looked fine.
After the tire rotation and tightening and retightening my lugs to specifications my shimmying while braking is gone. Evidently I had loose wheels.
This is why I want to continue to learn and do this myself. Even a very experienced mechanic didn’t think to check the lugs/wheel.
