as a teachers kid i have to help with this nearly every year and i feel awful because i’ve kinda grown to hate it. watching this is honestly helping me hate it less because it’s an honest look into the pure excitement of a teacher that still cares and really made me realize some of my moms madness. thank you <3

I taught for 40 years and this brings me right back to my first classroom of my own. Back to school was always the best time, I hope you have as wonderful a career as I did. Always remember that your students will look to you for security and support, sometimes the days lesson is not as important as reassuring a scared child. Have a wonderful time!! You could use that little box thing as storage or like treasure boxes when your kids are good they can pick a box and pick something out of the box!

OH MY GOSH!!! Listening to you share about your room reminded me SO MUCH of myself in my first room! The previous teacher left so many things, and I felt so overwhelmed!! I ended up putting it all into one cabinet that I basically ignored all year. Hahaha! Great minds think alike! :)

This video just popped up on my feed today as I've finished up my summer classes recently. I'm studying to be an art teacher and aiming to teach in high school and get nervous thinking of the day I'll graduate and get the job of my dreams and my own classroom. Hi! I love classroom set up videos, & this is my first time watching you! I do have a suggestion for the cubby. Put crates in them as a spot to keep classroom notebooks, or shared craft supplies so they are easily accessible but not cluttering space then decorate every other one with books/plushies for whatever season/holiday you're in!

I'm going to 8th grade on August 19 and I miss 4th grade it was simple and fun and my teacher impacted my life and motivated me to learn.
