I use black socks for erasers. We store the dry erase marker in the sock. The kids love to put them on their hands to erase. I’ve had the same set for years. I wash and dry them throughout the year. They hold up so well.

I used baby/ small child socks from Dollar Tree for student erasers. My 5th graders loved them. They put the sock on their hands and erased their boards. I washed them a few times throughout the year and during the summer. They lasted for years.

Would love a video on organization!! Also I’d love to see how you reorganize your folders by skill vs Fundations and a video diving more into your WIN block. Always look forward to Sundays with Susan! 😁

For dry marker erasers I use the small round makeup remover cloths from Dollar Tree. I think there are 2-3 in a pack for $1.25. Yes, the kids did draw on them, but they are washable and you can reuse them! As always, great video!

Use the three makeup erasers in a pack in dollar tree. I have also used a sock or colored fabric from Michael's craft store cut up. On clearance. 🎉

Hi Susan! Another great video, thanks! I would love a video on how you organize your small group center and what materials you keep there for yourself to have on hand as well as how you organize your small group lessons. Thanks!

I have found that felt works great for my class. I just cut the felt up in to squares at the beginning of the year and put them in a bucket for whenever a student needs to replace theirs. Cheap and easy to store away.

I cut felt sheets in fourths and use that as student dry erase board erasers. Cheap, easy and they work well.

For wipe board erasers I use kids size black socks, I wash every once in a while. Love your lakeshore purchases. I teach Kinder and some would be great for my morning tubs and indoor recess.

For erasers, I use dark felt. I get sheets from a craft store it’s super cheap. And cut them into squares for each student.

Hi, I'm from Australia and I love watching your videos. So great that your school gives you a budget for your class. Schools here also do that. I thought I would comment about the playdough. You mentioned you will use it during the first week of school and I wasn't sure what you do with it after. My daughters OT recommends playdough as a great tool for children to use to strengthen their handwriting muscles. Just an idea, maybe you could add playdough to your indoor recess options, or your soft start morning activity options. The children will be playing while also strengthening those muscles. You could maybe add with it playdough number/letter/shape mats.
