Classroom Setup Day 1 | Falling in Love With Teaching Again VLOG 18

This is my first day of classroom setup for the 2024-2025 school year! It’s been a while since I set up a classroom from scratch (and I quickly abandoned a lot of my plans) but I was able to bring in organization containers and bins from home, set up most of my bulletin boards, and get furniture somewhat in place. There’s still a LOT to do but I at least made some progress in the right direction so get ready to follow along as I set up my classroom and take you with me!

The first day is never as productive as we anticipated in our mind. I had to move classrooms and I dropped stuff off yesterday, teachers start tomorrow. My mind is all over the place as to how I want to set it up! lol

I have been teaching for 23 years, and my school/curriculum is nothing like yours, so my classroom set up will be very different, yet I enjoy watching your videos. I just finished my room other than a few sit down organization projects. Love the progress so far.

I try to divide my classroom into quadrants and work on each section to prevent feeling overwhelmed. When I first started teaching back in 1992, I drove a motorcycle and could not carry any supplies. The other reason is that I had on $71 to my name. I was so poor that I could not afford the o and r, so I really was a PO teacher. Your classroom is coming along very well.
