I know two people personally. One, a married male teacher with his 8th grade student. He was given prison time. The other, a woman with nine, yes, I said nine, boys in the school she was teaching in. It took years before she went to trial. Pretty convenient as the boys all looked significantly older than they did when she was grooming them. She spent a few months here and there in jail after her arrests (because she wouldn’t stop her sexting etc. after initially caught). Destroyed her marriage and forever damaged her kids. Prison time? Nope. Absolutely unbelievable.
