The Newport-Mesa School District is investigating a teacher after she posted a video admitting that she encouraged her students to pledge allegiance to a gay pride flag after she removed the American flag from her classroom.

As someone who has an outside perspective to all this, since I wasn't born in the US and immigrated here. I'm fascinated how much self loathing some Americans have. They trash America while ordering their 4th soy latte from Starbucks. We have so many privileges here that others would literally die for to have. I love this country and my experience with other immigrants is the same.
