On a serious note, the reason they exist (along with poop/potty themed books) is to make using the potty more fun and normalized for toddlers. Potty training is often an extremely stressful time for toddlers, because they’re having to forego the comfort and ease of diapers and replacing it with having to have body awareness, using a strange device, and all in all learning a new skill. The toys and books can seem annoying, but they can be very helpful in making potty training a positive experience
