Are You Enabling Your Adult Child's Bad Behavior? Learn the Signs and How to Stop// Are you a parent of an adult child who struggles with defiance or other challenging behavior? If so, you may have found yourself inadvertently falling into the trap of enabling. Enabling behavior is harmful for both the parent and the adult child, as it can perpetuate negative patterns and make it harder for the child to take responsibility for their actions.
In this video, we'll explore some common examples of enabling behavior, including providing financial support without accountability, covering up or excusing bad behavior, failing to enforce boundaries or consequences, ignoring the impact of the child's behavior on others, and allowing the child to rely on the parent for emotional support without meeting the parent's own needs.
We'll discuss why enabling behavior is harmful and how it can prevent the child from developing the skills and independence they need to thrive. We'll also offer tips and strategies for recognizing and breaking the cycle of enabling, so that both parent and child can move towards a healthier and more fulfilling relationship.
If you're a parent struggling with enabling behavior or looking for ways to support your defiant adult child, this video is for you. Don't miss it!

No more enabling. He can't treat us/ his parents good or won't. Was using drugs again when my rule of the house is this is a sober house. And he's at my mom's again and isn't taking his meds. I keep praying and hoping God will change his heart
