My Bro-in-Law, who is a dentist, told me about 30 yrs ago to ONLY use real butter, no veg type oils, as they clog up the arteries in the heart. He was WAAAAY ahead of the current trend. Glad you’re also preaching this healthy information too ✅.

If you're at someone else's house, make sure you're bigger than them before you throw their cooking oils in the garbage.

I followed your advice and threw my brother's oils in the trash. He threw me through the sliding glass door and popped my little hiney. But he apologized later and admitted it was all for the best.

Don’t use:
Canola Oil
Cotton Seed Oil
Rapeseed Oil
Safflower Oil
Soybean Oil
Instead use these Saturated oils:
Bacon grease
Tallow
Suet
Avocado Oil
Butter
Olive oil

Don't throw out canola oil. Its great for wood furniture and wood floors. I bought a huge container of the stuff at Cosco. When I learned about how bad it was I use it on wood. Love your channel. Thank God for Doctors like you. Can't wait to find a good doctor in NYC.

Grew up on Crisco, margarine, and corn oil. What a disaster to our health. Now it's coconut, ghee, Irish butter, olive, avocado oils and duck lard.

One good use for crisco, don’t throw it out. Get a long candle wick and push it down to the bottom of the can at the center. If your power goes out it will burn for days. Then when the power is back on you can put the plastic lid back on and save for next outage.

Dr. Berry, love your work. FYI, there is research coming out showing that pork and poultry have high levels of linoleic acid these days due to the animals being fed corn and soy and such. If you look at modern bacon you can tell. Back when I was a kid (70s) bacon fat coming out of the fridge was stiff and hard. Nowadays it's limp and greasy (much less saturated). Recommending lard without knowing the way the pig was fed is problematic. I'm not sure of the source of this info though. Maybe Chris Knobbe. It was a researcher Paul Saladino had on his podcast though. Beef, being meat from a ruminant, does not appear to have this issue so tallow is apparently still fine. That's the direction I've been going personally.

We've been cooking with Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil in Ghana before the introduction of the sweet poisons called vegetable oils.

I've been following your advice, losing weight and doing well but it scares me how little most people care when I mention what I'm learning. I don't want to eat out anymore because no one uses healthy ingredients. Hopefully, as I continue to get healthier people will start listening.

He's absolutely right, we also need saturated real fats to keep the elasticity in our skin. Cutting out fat causes wrinkles in our skin sooner. The meat and dairy industry is so irresponsible, as is our Government. We need to stop shaming people into eating food for rabbits and insects. Girls and boys are going to extremes of anorexia or obesity. We need to educate and support them in their eating, and keep them away from celebrity diets and other eating trends.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

You're so right! All my life, I've only cooked with Butter, EVOO, organic Coconut or Avocado Oil - and Bacon Grease from good quality Bacon. And I really cook, and never ever eat fast foods or have processed foods in my Kitchen. My diet has always been Plant-based with small amounts of Meat/Fish and moderate amounts of Dairy. (Whole fat only!) At almost 72, my health is excellent, and I have never been overweight

Cold pressed
1) Coconut Oil
2) Peanut Oil
3) Kusuma Oil
These three are the best for Daily Usage.
4) Sesame Seeds Oil
5) Butter or Gee
6) Olive Oil
7) Avocado Oil
These are best to use weekly twice.

In this way using 2 or 3 different oils weekly will be the good for Health.

Thank You Very Much Sir.
I thought Rapeseed oil is good, because it was mentioned cold pressed oil. Now I have got the clarity.
Thanks a lot.

In UK, it's cretical to get the cold pressed oils. Now I have only options like Coconut Oil, Oilve Oil, Butter.

Thank You 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

You should do a video on the history of Canola, and how it became so popular. It is actually quite interesting. It started as an industrial lubricant made in Canada (hence the name Canola, Can(ada)Oil) for WW2. After the war, they found a way to purify it's awful taste and started marketing it as a food product.

My great grandmother drank a glass of olive oil in front of me once. And I was surprised that day. Olive oil is anti inflammatory. Is good for the joints, heart and inflammatory diseases.

I've been using Bicel margarine for a long time, and it's always made me feel crappy after having it. I think I'll go back to butter.
