The fun part of Osman's experiment is the industry has been doing it for years. Every time you see "cellulose" in the ingredients list of a product, equate it with sawdust. It's basically the same thing. They've been feeding us wood byproduct to reduce costs.

My daughter is currently studying nutrition at University and they are still pushing the narrative that vegetable oils and polyunsaturated fats are better. Whenever she speaks up and questions anything she’s quickly shut down by her professor and chastised by her peers.🤯

My poor husband used to take me to the grocery store and would stand there for a while while I try to find mayo, bread, and other food that didn’t have these nasty oils. I was so frustrated by how cheap and phony these companies are especially the ones calling their mayo Olive oil mayo even though OO was the last one of the 4 inflammatory oils included in that mayo. Fortunately, when I started watching Flavcity it helped me so much to know what to look for and educate myself on ingredients in our food! I mostly try to make my own bread at home, buy fresh produce and make it at home with Italian evoo or the Chosen brand 100% avocado oil. It’s sad that even the so called avocado oils on the market have these other oils in them! How insane is that??
Every time I go to the doc they tell me that my chol is a little high and I used to get scared but now I realize that those numbers are arbitrary and that the grassfed butter I consume is 100x better than the crappy oils that have the American heart association label slapped on them!
It saddens me when I see people trying to get healthy and buying fat free pr low fat dairy and other products 🥺 and it infuriates me when the doctor is telling me that those are better even though I’m healthy and not overweight. Misinformation is a deadly weapon that kills and cripples millions

The AHA (American Heart Association) officially says Canola Oil is good for your heart...just FYI: the president of AHA had a heart attack in 2017.

The conclusion i came to is that we must all learn to cook our own food from scratch.
Just buy basic ingredients, anything that is processed almost undoubtedly has seed oils and added sugars in them

I’ve always thought it was ironic when people say “it’s too expensive to eat healthy” but later on down the road the people who spent a little more money on eating healthy, Whole Foods are the one who WONT be spending money on medications and doctor visits that the one who ate cheap, unhealthy food will be. So yeah eating cheap food will save you money in the short term. But will cost you much more in the long run.

As an IBS sufferer I had to learn to read food labels to avoid vegetable oils, eating out if even worse. It’s a shame no government around the world seem to care about the effects this has on people.
