I am a cautionary tale. Wear your nightguard! Before I got one, I ended up with a root canal bc I grinded so bad I cracked a molar into the pulp chamber. It got infected and viola! Abscess. I was on and off compliant after that until a uear ago when I finally decided once and for all I could not go without it. During my non compliant time, I cracked another molar leading to a crown and then managed to deepen the Crack in my root canal tooth below the gum line. It got infected again, this time could not be saved and the tooth had to go. All of this after literally not having cavities my whole life. Dental infections are the worst pain of life. I have had a c section and would take the pain of recovering from my c section 100x rather than have another dental infection. Wear your night guards!

Get a night guard as soon as you can if you need it my bruxism caused my ears to ring really bad and it made my bruxism even worse because of my extra stress

I got a night guard wore it for 3 days after that my front teeth started hurting me then my jaws started to hurt and my bites got different and it’s really painful should I be concerned??

Yup two of my crowns fell out in less then one year and this last one that fell out part of my tooth did as well and I had to buy a whole new crown and they aren’t cheap at all! 1500 for one little crown 😂so she made me buy a night guard because she said it’s gonna keep happening

I have a night guard but it is split 3/4th of the way around. I have no insurance and one of my teeth has already broken.
