In my first game I did a tech heavy empire. Eventually there was a machine uprising of some kind and there was a prompt I didn't fully understand but basically it was asking me if I wanted to continue playing as my empire or if I wanted to play as the machines who split off from the empire. I picked the machines and then proceded to get rekd by my original empire. 10/10

One thing worth mentioning. At the start of the game don't disband your fleet. Go to ship design, remove all and then upgrade to the new design. Its free Alloys right at the start :)

You might be able to tell I’m very new to making videos. Do tell me all of the things I did wrong or could have been better :)

Your editing is so good it makes your microphone bearable.

I was the UN default faction and went to Alpha Centauri where i found out that the Borg was once in control of everything, which was spooky. I turned around after colonizing it and ran into some Aliens who I couldnt communicate with. I set a scientist to figure out their language but when he came back after a few years of research, he said it was all for nothing but a mixtape and we were at a dead end. The aliens then tried to hack my systems, then promptly called me on my iFone and asked if we wanted to be space mormons with them in perfect English. I was about to respond when they called back and said they were tired of me being alive and sacked the Sol system and would only leave after I humiliated myself. I told them how small human penises are and they stopped murdering us and went home laughing.

I went back threw Alpha Centauri to see if there was any "nice" aliens I might be able to make an alliance with on the other side of space, and ran into OTHER humans who were all like "yo we left hundreds of years ago to do our own thing because.... well mostly because of this exact scenario. You are a genetic fuck up and inferior to us, " to which I was like "listen Ill give you iFones and Doritoz if you dont nuke us."

They agreed and left us alone.

I was getting pissed off, and so was my constituents, so I made what I thoguht was a big battle group of "Destroyers" to take on the first planet we discovered was Mormon Klingon territory. Except I didnt know how combat worked, so I walked in, said "WE ARE AT WAR!" and my entire fleet went MIA before I even knew how to set an attack command. Since I started the war before having any claims or goals, my only option was to humiliate them, but as discussed earlier they already knew human penis size and promptly crushed Sol and the next 2 systems with it.

Right about as Earth was being seiged, the Mirror Humans called and were like "yo, fuck ups, seems like you could use a hand. How about you become slave- I mean, a vassal under our Empire. We just invented Mountain Dew itll be sick." Without much options I agreed and tried to send some ships to make a new break away colony (since I was now totally surrounded by enemy or frenemy empires) but with 0(-6) influence I couldnt even get my own men to build a space station to start the new colony off (which was called Oracle's Grave Nebula, funnily enough. Couldve been called Tiny Dick Ridge and felt just as good).

Once the Galactic Senate was created I tried to use the little influence I had in there to set up austerity and peace measures like recycling and veterans aid, but by then the first planet I had colonized in Alpha Centauri (called 'New Eden') started having terror attacks (lol) from my not very happy pops. All in all we lost 2 more colonies to the Mormon-Klingon Hegemony and then was absorbed by the Evil Human Empire.

10/10 would become Space Poland again. Thanks for the concise tutorial, hopefully some xeno-slaves can build you a new robo-microphone soon.

I like how you made it funny and added jokes instead of just telling us how to play. Good luck Man

Instead of disbanding your fleet at the beginning, you can remove all the weapons, armor, and shields then upgrade your fleet to get free alloys to build science ships to survey the galaxy faster

I cant tell you how much I appreciate you not fully going into the whole " a percentage of my watchers aren't subscribed" thing. A well deserved like and subscribe 👍😊

+1.000h in, this is a very good guide.

Don't disband your fleet at the start. Scrap them for alloys and build a second science ship

I now have like 200 hours in Stellaris and while the information in this tutorial isn't fully accurate the little lies it contains help make the game easier to understand. It's definitely good enough to win your first game. Helped me understand every system except building on planets.

Wow, that was really well done. I'm a, "I've played 2 games the first of which I lost badly, the second one is going ok so far" new player. This helped a lot, if you get the itch to do more of these with DLC, I would be much appreciative!

P.S. one thing I feel might be worth mentioning or doing a little explaining on is the "factions" tab, because for me personally, its what caused my first game to go so horribly 😂😂😂
