I honestly am surprised they haven't tried to do a reboot. If they ever do, maybe set it a little farther in the past, to avoid the war. Eve in the book, though, they did have American's directly in the story, it still killed the charm of the story.

Nothing Japanese about this. From their kimonos to their hair.. its all wrong. Why they didn't use Japanese actors to play roles and culture in a Japanese story, is beyond me.
