My left bigtoe at times (maybe once or twice a week) experiences a very painful electric shock like lightning is shooting out of it - It literally takes my breath away for several minutes - the pain itself last 20-30sec. I noticed this all started when I purchased a "Inversion Table by Teeter" I used to hang upside down on it for several minutes because of lower back pain... I wonder if I might have damaged And compressed a nerve on the foot itself ?

I turned off the volume to stop the music blaring and turned on the subtitles to learn abaut bunions, Yes I have one due to anyway

I have flat feet and since I was a small child have had to wear very solid shoes with heavy arch support, otherwise I will walk on my instep. I don't know the science of it, but I know I get pain in the joint of my big toe if I don't have proper shoes that hold my feet in the proper position.
