Mountainsmith Day Pack - 1994 vs 2016

Engearment looks at the Mountainsmith Day Pack. We have our own from 1994 and Mountainsmith provided the 2016 version for comparison.

I still have my original Red like yours. I made the mistake of cutting my belt strap down years ago when I was skinny. Now I can barely get it buckled. It has seen hundreds of miles of hiking through Northern CO. Still in great shape. 🥾🥾

there quality has really changed from what I have seen. the size is really small.

Can you disattach the shoulder starp and utilize their shoulder straplette straps to convert it to a lumbar pack with backpack strap, thanks in advanced, they are nice packs for day hikes. Take care.
