Mountainsmith Tour Lumbar Pack

I have been using the Tour as my primary day-hike pack for at least 5 years.  Have taken it hiking from the humid-forests of the SEUS to the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, the Sequoia National Park, Arches, Zion Canyon, and Yellowstone... and many points in-between.  I have been more than satisfied with it's durability and service.  (I do use it with strapettes.)

Hey y'all
I'm in the process of starting my 6+ months of bicycle touring, starting in London and going thru France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Luxembourg, Denmark, Netherlands, and back to UK.
It's going to take almost a year or so to complete.
This mountain Smith tour looks great to carry some of my personal gear like pocket camera, cellphone some snacks documents etc.
Is it good for this type of adventure or you guys have a better solution
