Bravo! I did not get this teaching from Judaism growing up, however I got this EXACT teaching from intensive study and practice of yoga/Vedanta meditation and the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. The EXPERIENCE of the Allness of Ha'shem is the whole point of meditation..It's beautiful to hear it coming from this fabulous rabbi, God Bless him)

Anyone looking for God, the way you speak of Hashem, and what he means, that person, searching, must hear this video. I found a treasure here. Thank you Rabbi.

Our perspective of god we hold mold our thought and behaviour. Accepting and knowing that there is love, compassion and welcoming in the true God would direct our thought and behaviour to be a caring and kind person. There will be peace for all people.

God (I know, ironic, huh) spoke the universe into being, so literally; His voice is the Energy of the universe, His breath is the Matter. It also says that all things are bound to His Will, and, He holds the very atoms together.

If God is "everywhere, all at once, all the time", the most logical way this could be true, is for virtually everything, to be God Himself. Many ancient religions even claim that we are but the dream of God.

This video is brilliant. This is how I understand God but he has been able to put it into words. Thank you!

Thank you Rabbi. Beautiful talk.

One note: You uttered Gods name, you're not allowed to say that, you ought to say: Yud & Hei & Vuv & Hei. You must insert a pause.

I see now that you're actually doing that in other speeches.

Thank you Rabbi. Though my struggle to believe pales in comparison to the Holocaust or even the events of October 15th, your thoughtful explanation of GOD is LOVE resonates and will lead others to The Divine.

OHHH! Emergent Properties when talking about the drop in the ocean. Try applying the drop in the ocean to this: An atom of water (H2O) does not contain the properties of wetness. However, place enough atoms of H2O together and you have a bucket of water which contains the property of wetness. Dig deeper and the drop in the ocean analogy falls apart.

A Theravada monk once asked me to sum up my previous doubts in the existence of God. My answer: His silence. The enormity of the silence of God in the face of extreme horror. I simply could not remain faithful to monotheistic notions. But I am delighted that many do indeed find very real refuge there.

"You find yourself outside yourself". It depends on your definition of "yourself". Yes, if "yourself" is the external world. Outside the external world is the internal world. Look for the Truth within you? Lurianic Kabalah.

18 to young 20s, Final formative years of the frontal cortex. Not surprising Rabbi Aaron's path was pre-determined to be a Rabbi as his final formative years imprinted on his last years of cortex development!
