One important thing to consider about laptop noise: a larger 17" laptop means more room for more heat pipes and fans. So it makes sense that it should be more quiet than a 15" gaming laptop.

A bit light on ports for a 17". Needs a SD slot, another USB A port, and better port placement. Best to have most ports on the left or rear with a USB A port towards the back right side and the SD slot can be placed anywhere on the right, or even front since it won't interfere with your gaming hand.

This is actually a pretty good deal. The i7 12700H is a beast. RTX 3070 140W TGP is no slouch either. Screen doesn't need to be 300hz but it's really nice to play games like CS:GO that will probably get up to 300+fps. Price is very fair too, it is relatively future proof too so I wouldn't feel bad buying one.

Honestly coming from someone who started off on a 24'' screen on own personal PC and moving up to a 27'' I can safely say that while that's a preety sweet labtop a bigger screen is much prefeered also with your own PC you can have a nice keyboard so this for me would be great asa secondary device but for now my duel PC setup works just fine.

For $2500, i'd expect at least a 2tb ssd, and 32gb ddr4. If you were to plug a 2nd monitor with youtube, google chrome, etc on it, you'd experience really bad stutters in game.

If only it was all Ryzen, I'd buy it. Also noticed the one that's highlighted for $2400 only comes with 16gb of DDR4, not 32gb DDR5 and a 3070ti instead of a 3080ti, so your test laptop must be close to $3000.

Certain companies label laptops like this as "workstations", buy them for their employees (developers, graphic designers, system engineers etc ...) and get tax deductions as "business expense" . They are added benefit to employees (to acquire and retain talent), and after few years you could actually buy laptop from company (for pennies) and keep it as your own.
