I did the same last year, got a new cheap asus B450 (4ram slot and basic vrm heatsink) for 60 eur and a used R5 2600 for 30 eur. Added a 1650 DDR6 which i had for years and the pc is doing fine. Tempted to do an upgrade to 5600(5700x3d) and a 6700XT but im not gaming alot these days.

I just got a gtx 1070 for 70 dollars and I already had a 256gb ssd from a laptop and bought the cpu ram motherboard combo for 90 dollars. I also bought some random fans on aliexpress and a cpu cooler. This will be my first PC build to flip or use so I'm pretty excited.

lmao, this is exactly the specs of my old pc. i can confirm that it will run most games at 1080p medium great, but it will struggle on modern titles quite a bit. if you're on a budget and you want to play mostly online/competitive games a rig like this is perfect

I like how small the case is. Usually in budget builds, the components are small, and it just looks awkward the there's a lot of empty room in the case.
