Definitely the E90 because of the low mileage and comes in coupe, sedan wagon or convertible

If reliability is your game, then the e90 is definitely the best on the list, that applies to the 328i, and 325i, and maybe the 330i depending on the case, but most importantly keep away from anything with a 35i at the end of the model name, unless you got deep pockets. The e60 528i is a great car as well, although not as reliable as the e90, or as fun to drive (from an enthusiast's perspective). Nevertheless, all the cars on this list are great, and each one of them appeals to a different audience, so choose wisely 😉

I picked up a FBO custom tuned stage 3 turbo F30, 72k miles, for $16k - puts down 450whp and came with an uninstalled M Perf LSD which I put in ($600). Immediately had to replace the oil pan gasket and valve cover gasket, which was probably about $1500. All the turbo clamps had to be replaced too though, and it was way too big of a job for my garage, so that was like $1500 all in, but not normal maintenance. Despite $20k total, glad to see the F30 at #1 off the bat.

As a Z4 owner I vote Z4. Low mileage low price for a very modern retro looking car that I think looks so so good and is light with great gas mileage and fun to drive

Just a heads up. The 2011 F10 comes with a N52 3.0L iL6. 2011 is the last year BMW put a naturally aspirated il6 in the 5 Series. Also, BMW put the first generation N52 in the e9x 330i until 2006. The 1st Gen N52 comes with a higher output from factory compared to the 328i and more often they'll come at a cheaper price because of they're age. But from factory the first gen N52 is more reliable than the following 2 generations of the engine.

Edit: My F10 528i came with the N52T from factory. It's a 2011 that i picked up in March of 2021 for just under $10k and it has been the most fun and reliable car i've ever owned.

My friend tells me 2007-2009 335i is the best option to get right now. Put a tune on it and down pipes and exhaust. What do y’all think?

I’m going to say my bmw the E38 7 series they go for around 6-7k in good condition with fair mileage around 100-150k miles just make sure they were taken care of and it will last you strong V8 from the 90’s with 200ish HP honestly it’s more than enough and you get a little luxury too

E90 328i is the way to go, bmw last NA I-6, very dependable and sharp looking car
