Everybody needs a raise on social security

The law needs to be changed so that those already on low income don't get other benefits reduced or taken away when we get a tiny increase for the SSI, Disability, Vets, ect..TY!

I get a raise to SSI in January & in February I get a cut in SNAP benefits! One step forward two steps back! I get so discouraged! Every month I go to 3 local pantries but I still don’t get enough SNAP benefits to cover basic food necessities - it’s very discouraging! I know that I am not alone in this!

I agree to a request that without exception any and all other benefits will not decrease as a result of cost of living adjustments. Food Benifits should also increase in response to inflationary food prices. I believe your letter could include that as well. Thanks for caring and for your hard work. Much appreciated.

I was approved for snap, a couple weeks ago, and I receive $20.00 a month. That won't even make it a week. I was a appalled by that amount.. thanks for all the helpful information. Have a nice eveing.

What you said would be perfect. I used to get $198 a month for snap benefits, then it went down to $16, then the next year it went up to $19, and the following year it went up to $25. That's where it has been now. After paying bills and rent, nothing is left. I am grateful for what the government gives me in snap benefits, but it's not enough. Thank you Matt, Corey for all you do. May the Lord multiply your blessings..🙏🙏

Huge raise means medicare goes up. Cost living goes up. That means nothing left still. It would help if a extra $150 on snap would help a lot that carry 2 extra weeks into the month. Congress needs to eat off $160 a month.

#BlindToBillionaire Yes Yes Yes please send that letter that would change things for all us on low or fixed income, but also one thing to add would be for them the raise the minimum of snap with every cola raise I know I can't be the only one who has about $10 over the minimum but still struggling to eat and our local food pantry is only allowed one visit every month, with minimal food being handed out for a family of 2
