I think I've heard every reason people have come up with on why I should not to buy this drone but I still got the DJI FPV anyway! Even weeks after, I've still no regret about it! ✌️

He's talking from a drone videographer perspective and this drone has only limited uses in that field. This drone is great for people who aren't drone savvy and want a high quality FPV experience with long range and handholding to keep them from destroying their expensive toy.

I just bought this drone. I was SO impressed with it I went all in, extra batts, backpack. I love the anti crash tech -must have. I went out of range and it comes back until you take it over. Very impressive. Yo need to go into goggles and disable all ROLLS in the controls. This is good to just get used to it. These guys are all picky but this drone is awesome. With the goggles INCREDIBLE. Worth every penny

I agree that getting a custom built FPV drone with go pro hero 9 is the way to go, however for someone who wants to get into FPV that doesn’t want to start building, soldering and tuning their quad, and simply wants to start flying right immediately, this thing is awesome( that is me). With good lighting/proper editing software you can still get some epic shots and serves a purpose in the world of FPV.

you can be as far as possible from the nearest airport but you are still in the airport approach sectors or entrance gates which won't allow you to fly.

Dude I love this thing and its my first official real FPV drone. It is easy to fly and its perfect for those who have no experience flying drones. It has the Return to Home mode. Also has alot of safety measures like Collision avoidance. The camera gimble is easy to control with the switch. It goes 90 + plus miles an hour and it can fly in areas where you want to surveillance. It has N mode S sport mode and then M manual mode which should be full able to do acrobats and way more upgrades in the future no doubt to increase its capacity for those who become more efficient with them.

The reason dji has no punch is because it use a battery with low discharge rate, way less than a 120 c we use on a real racing drone.

Dude I can't put it down.. it's my favorite thing I have ever bought.. I have nice cameras .. oled tvs.. ps5.. nothing touches the fun of this drone

At the end of this, I think all your good reasons far outweigh all the cons this drone might have! The fact that it can fly right away makes it a good enough reason to have one!

I beg to differ here somewhat! I prefer the built-in camera on the FPV instead of the gopro. The footage is less wobbly thanks to its RockSteady EIS plus the quality of the videos are way better IMO!

Hi there Danny. Ridge runs ARE still possible, as long as your launch is equally high or higher than your objective. Most of my videos have satellite & high-altitude drone intro sequences.

Ahh. yeah.. I've heard a lot of people coming from self built FPV drones (including myself) saying the same, we're ALL waiting for a DJI FPV drone with a carbon fibre frame, I think DJI would sell a lot more by doing a more "tinker friendly" drone.

The drone's "chodie" body design appears to be a lifting body, which would make it potentially energy efficient in forward flight.

It definitely breaks super easy. On my first crash, I was going like 5 miles an hour and I ran into a pool noodle, it slammed to the ground and burnt out the motor. lol BUT I send it in for repair, paid 75 and DJI sent me a whole replacement! So that was rad. So if you send yours in, pay for the repair not the replacement if you can! they will probably just send you a freshie.

So how does this thing work in regards to flying rules? I was under the impression you weren’t allowed to fly your drone “out of your range of sight” which is about 1500ft. If you’re doing fpv you can’t really “keep an eye on it” lol. Just wondering how that works.

Edit, I found the rules. Apparently if you are using FPV goggles you must have a “spotter” or designated person to watch your drone to make sure it never goes out of line of sight.

I already have the DJI FPV, but if I sell the drone (and keep the goggles/controller) what FPV drone would you recommend getting instead for increased performance?

The “I know what I’m doing so I should be able to break the rules” mode probably isn’t a good idea…

I don't know what to say to this video ...in my opinion completely missed items, first he complains about the quality of the camera, then he says that he prefers traditional FPV to fly .... then he complains about the flight altitude, with traditional FPV you just reach 500 meters and you can go back immediately because you no longer have battery power. these are incredibly vain comments from a man who says he works professionally, and that this drone could have a better camera ???

I'm really asking. Unless you carrry the updated aviation sectional chart that FAA publishes every 90 days, how do you know you are not in a no fly zone?
