When you ruminate, or stew about something, you go over and over and over the same thought in your brain. This produces THE FUNK. 

Unfortunately, ruminating is like a runaway train: Once it gets started, it is very difficult to stop. To top it all off, people who are chronic worriers tend to be experts at stewing. They get the grand prize for being in a FUNK!

That’s because the more you practice ruminating and stewing, the better you get at it. And worriers and ruminators get lots of practice - daily practice!

Is there anything else that you can think of that you practice every day, almost all day long? If you were to put that kind of time and energy into any kind of hobby, a musical instrument, or even work or a side hustle - can you imagine how successful you would be at it?

Try taking a percentage of your time worrying, and put it into actually DOING something. See how good you get at it!
