🌈Hi Chef A.J., Endo-opiates discussion needed more . Too few people know of the discovery of the endo-opiate system, and the role it plays in our lives, the lives of others and complex addiction recovery.

Thank you Dr. Lustig! I have learned so much from you and applied what I learned to improve my health. Because of you, I have a better understanding about how my body works and what I need to do to help it stay healthy. I have been following you for awhile now. You, Dr. Lustig, are a rock star! 🌟

Oh wow, i had no idea fructose in the form of high fructose corn syrup is so bad for our body but now i do. Now i understand why my doctor told me to cut sugar when my triglyceride rose in my blood work. Such cool stuff, thank you chef AJ to bring dr Lustig on.

I have been on so many diabetic diets over 6 decades...getting rid of fat, sugar, salt, and processed foods is the only way to blood sugar control.

While I feel Dr. Lustig is admirable, have appreciated his book 'Fat chance' and videos this video seems to me to have glaring omissions (unless somehow I missed them). 1) at the outset it should have been explained that what comes to mind as 'sugar' namely sucrose or table sugar is composed of a molecule each of glucose and sucrose. 2. Fruits contain both these, and it is thought that the fibre and probably antioxidants of fruit have a mitigating effect on the dangers of its fructose.

I disagree with his stance of sugar being toxic. The study he mentioned that 'verified' his claims had no change to the teenage boys normal diets when they added free sugars. Nobody gets fat and diabetic on a diet of juices and fat free high sugar candies. Only in combination with dietary fat will this cause issues. What did the teen boys normal diet consist of? I can guarantee it was high fat.

How about giving a cure for sugar addiction? Fed up of hearing how bad sugar is when I'm addicted. Just makes me more hopeless and depressed.

What foods contain fructose vs glucose? When you say you replaced children’s diet with starch, what are examples of starch? Thanks. Hi
