Awesome video. This is easily my favourite channel on YouTube. Love how you really analysed the results and how accurate your predictions were. You clearly know your stuff. Can’t wait until the next one :)

Thanks for including the Zentimings picture. Wouldnt mind some numbers for the 13900k as well!

While your X3D tuned timings are way better than the XMP\Expo garbage ones, theres definitely room for improvement.

tWTRS to 4, tWR can probably go to 48, tRTP to 12, tRDWR to 16, tWRRD to 1-2. Other than that your subs are fine for the most part. A-die can also go as low as 120ns-ish tRFC, which is around 380-390 tRFC or so, but that requires testing, and maybe more mem VDD voltage as you're close to the limit. 450 should be a safe-ish place to be for most people on A-die, but if you want some better Aida latency numbers, thats a good place to start. Although pushing timings as low as you can for Aida latency doesnt always translate to better game performance, as I'll explain further down.

tRFC2 and tRFCsb arent used on AM5 atm, so you can set those to whatever. Same goes for tRDRD/tWRWR SD+DD, only used on dual rank sticks so you can have a long row of 1's if you want it to look nice on your SR kit :)

Although I havent tested those exact timings, you may actually be in error correction territory with those primary timings. You usually want to go tRTP + tRCDRD = tRAS, and tRAS + tRP = tRC. Your tRC is a bit below your tRAS + tRP at the moment, so you could see some slowdowns because of that, thanks to DDR5s on-die ECC thingymajig.
I saw a decent improvement when following that rule / formula for my primaries on my 7700X in gaming (from 210fps to 220fps in Riftbreaker, and 320 to 360 fps in SotTomb Raider while using the same subtimings), and while the X3D doesnt scale all that well with ram you might see some extra frames as well. No guarantees though, havent tested it myself on X3D yet!

For reference, my 6400 CL32 XMP\Expo garbage timings gave me 185 fps in Riftbreaker, and sub 300 fps in SotTR on the 7700X, so even with some error correction I had massive gains from the secondary\tertiary timings alone, which is what we're seeing here as well.

Time for me to say goodbye to the 7700X though, as I got the 7800X3D on the table next to me atm!

Honestly love your videos. Despite not even hearing about this star citizen game till i watched your videos, the way you present your results and findings is such that anyone that is just savvy about these products can look at your videos and find useful information. Excellent work.

I still have an x370 mobo (C6H) with 4x8gb micron e die oced at 3733 14-10-18-16-36 and I slapped on it an 5800x3d coming from 3800x (and 1700 before!).
Huge upgrade imho, but watching these benchs makes me want to upgrade again lol.
I'll probably wait for next gen stuffs, even because I won't change my 3080 for a while and playing at 3440x1440 probably will make differences smaller. Thanks for the tests!

I have 7800x3d for 510 euro ddr5 32gb cl32- 6200mhz ( 6000mhz wasnt avaible), 116 euro and mmx670e mobo 305 euro. 20% tax included. All in all pretty much ideal combination of components costed me 931e here in the midle of Europe. 2150euro whole new pc after 7 years, equiped with 7900xtx. Its clearly well cooled high-end gaming rig, nothing more nothing less.

Seeing the server fps fluctuate between 4fps- 2 fps just makes all warm and fuzzy inside... Can yall imagine when server meshing finally gets going and the servers are running 20 to 30fps and once they rly get it dialed in could we possibly see 50?

I know it will become GPU bound, but what is the impact at say 4k or 1440p UW?

You need to test again with CO -30 (or whatever you get as stable)

Hmm my average FPS in Area 18 with a 7800x3d and 4090 is nowhere near 90. I bounce between 48-70 FPS. I don't know what's wrong.

upgraded from i7 8700k with 16gb ddr4 3000mt to 7800x3d/32gb ddr5 6000mt, and the difference is unreal in SC! It feels like an entirely new game :D

B650M GAMING X AX, 7800x3d and ddr5 6000 EXP0 now I'm waiting for a liquid cooling system and I have a little time, now I found out that these processors sometimes burn out, and that this may be due to the settings related to EXP0 and I'm scared, I heard that some manufacturers boards (ASUS) released new BIOSes for their boards to fix these problems, but I don't know how it is with GIGABYTE, I will of course update the BIOS before activating EXP0 on my board, but is it enough, I don't need to fix any voltage settings?

Please use 4k resolution, with these specs I assume very few people play on 1080? I might be wrong

How much do I have to pay you to help me tune my new pc 😅…. I just build my new PC 7800X3D, 4080 and 64gb 6000MHz (SK Heinz). I haven’t tried tuning it yet and run at 1440p but overall it seems like an improvement over my last pc.

great video. Why only -10 CO you can go a lot further -45 all per core for me.

How high would the SOC Voltage be with this d ram tuning ?

Great video. I’m happy with my 13900k. I was expecting more from the 7800x3d. But if consider the price and energy consumption, the 7800x3d wins.
I just bought the lg c2 today and it’s amazing. I have a 4090 and Idk what’s happening but when turning off the nvidia compatible and turning on the vsync in the nvidia control panel, the fps is stuck in 60fps. All of my games it’s working fine with 120fps. The problem with the nvidia compatible on is the flickering. Would you mind to share if it happens with you? Thanks

What kit of ram is that and are safe those voltage?

Can the AM5 platform not handle the higher RAM speeds that you reached with the 13900k?
