I am so glad that you took in the accessoires for Star Citizen. Tobii Eye Tracker in particular is increasing the state of immersion so much that I cant see how this would not be on the shoppinglist of every Citizen whom engages in dogfights from time to time.

Ultrawide is a must for star citizen for me. Started on a regular 16:9 but after getting a 32:9 the difference in immersion is night and day.

Voice attack is something I would recommend every commander in the verse also. It’s just so satisfying and effective. You can even choose an Ai voice to your liking.

Very nice accessory section, I wasn't thinking about such things when clicking on the video, but they matter a lot for this game. GameGlass, the eye tracker and HOSAS are the way to go! Extra points for the eye tracker as it can be used is a lot of games (nearly all Ubisoft games, for example).

My 7800x3d runs this game very well. I get FPS drops in cities or on some planets with storms but everyone does.

And it runs relatively cool and efficiently.

Not to mention it can probably play any game on the planet if you do build a hi end PC now for SC and SQ42

In general its best to just set pc with newest/highest components. Im doing it every time and got to build new pc. That what i got now got around 6years now - this year i have to finally build new one.

One of the absolutely best videos on Star Citizen PC's, result I followed all the recommendations and WOW amazing performance upgrade!

For joysticks I tried out the T16000M but quickly found out I needed a lot more buttons. If you can I would go right to VKB or Virpil sticks. I currently have two Virpil Alpha sticks and are Extremely happy with them. They are smooth and precise and have so many buttons and hats on them it’s crazy. If you are going with a high end build then don’t skimp on the sticks.

I just upgraded from 12700k DDR4 3000 to 14900K DDR5 6000 CL30. With my 4080, the performance increase is incredible. I still have to turn off the e-cores with Project Lasso in order to get stuttering under control.

Good Review, But I would recommed a fast nvme drive for all that future streaming tech.

If you're going for more expensive GPUs, always remember used 6900xt and 7900xt cards can be gotten for as little as $500 and $600 respectively

Thank you. Thinking of a 7900x3d with 7900GRE... but only at the start of next year.

Would be good to see these high end PC builds tested on high end resolutions, 5120x1440 at least. Why buy 5k+ pc's and then run it on a puny 27inch monitor.

I recently got an i7-14700K upgrade to my "old" i7-10700K to pair with my 3090 GPU, I got a DDR4 motherboard so that I could reuse my 64GB RAM. The performance improvement by just swapping the CPU was huge. The 14th gen CPU cost $10 more than the 13th gen, but I got 4 more cores, a 200MHz increase in turbo boost clock, and 3MB more "SmartCache". I also develop software and the extra cores help reduce SW build times, so the extra $10 to go 14th gen was a no-brainer. The DDR4 probably holds it back 5% compared to average DDR5 modules, but that probably translates to 2-3 FPS drop in SC, which varies much more than that anyway as you move around.

I chose to get some more life out of my 9900K platform and upgraded my GTX 1080 to an RTX 4080, along with a proper case that'll fit the darned thing and a new PSU to keep it happy. Also bit the bullet on a proper 64GB DDR4 kit since RAM prices are fairly reasonable atm and for those wondering: my system uses between 30 and 36GB of RAM with the game running and Discord on a second screen. Also upgraded my screens from 2560x1080 and a full-HD secondary to 3440x1440 and a 4K secondary in an attempt to lift some of the heavy lifting off' the 'ol 9900K. The whole dual stick setup i will take a look at at a later time. Done with investing in my system for the rest of the year ^^
