Or just buy the 7800x3d and have no need to fart about with overclocking and having a small sun inside your pc that uses energy like there is no tomorrow

"If you are an overclocker dont buy a x3d chip, buy a 600$ 13900k instead so you can tune your Pcores & Ecores to reach 7800x3d performance consuming up to 350watts against the 105w of the ryzen chip..." seems an amazing achievement 😅

buy a 13900k? and for overclocking? this video really aged badly lol

Dude missed the whole point on the 7800x3d. Having the cache on 1 die, you don’t need to overclock it. It’s a beast straight out the box especially for the price, and it’s fucking good on power consumption.

"spend $400 more dollars, you might get better performance" yeaaahhh okay

Bro this is just bad advice.

It doesn't matter which core can "OC" if the other is still better performance anyway.
Extreme ram speeds don't matter very much that's why people say to go for "sweet spot" ram kits.
x3d parts dont rely on ram speed as much because of the integrated cache.
13900k is mostly only better in esports titles which have extremely high performance on x3d parts as well, the difference in those titles is unimportant, you're probably not going to notice 400fps vs 350fps in league of legends for example.

In general the 7800x3d is better and cheaper than the 13900k for gaming.

Please don't run a tech channel if you're not going to do your homework because you'll just confuse people.

Intel fanboy SPOTTED!
The 7800X3D is for gaming.
NO, the 13900k does NOT beat it. In fact, it loses...badly...nearly always...while using 2x the power.
GET WRECKED. 🤣

Clowntech, "8400 mhz" is reachable only after buying 5 processors, 2-3 motherboards to find the best binned one and then if you even get it to boot in the windows and stress test enough. Welcome to hell when your ddr5 oc "8400 mhz" is not stable anymore on the next day because intels ddr5 imc.

Awful take man... you should delete this video, its soo wrong. Ive overclocked 3 different 13900ks on a dual 480mm custom loop. I used the best 13900k of the 3 with 7200 m/t cl 34 ram and still it was losing to a 7800x3d 6000m/t cl30 kit in a cheap b650 board. Bad advice.

you can tell he has no real experience with CPU's. Overclocking is a hobby of the past! Like burning and ripping DVD's. Most gamers wanna play games. Without all the hassle and BS of overclocking. The waste of electricity just for a boost in performance you need an AL to detect. Thanks for the advice kid I will stick with my 7800x3d.

"Good boy! You will get paid at the end of the month" sincerely yours, Intel. 🤦‍♂️

"a little bit" for him = 210 euros
Very "little" price increase

Why the hell I want oc my machine and run up the electric bill and hear my fan screaming for small marginal increase plus it will stress out your machine lifespan.

If you get a 7800X3D there's NO NEED to overclock it. It's as fast as fuck when it comes to gaming, and there isn't a CPU that beats it for gaming purposes at the time of me posting this.

Take a look at the power draw.

Even the overclockers are undervolting a 13900k. For roughly the same performance (unless you're into Factorio or Assetto Corsa Competizione or MSFS where AMD is way out ahead), AMD is going to draw 30-50% as much power, *and* it'll be cheaper.

The real comparison should have been something like a 13700k. Which most of the above point also stands against. The 13900k is pointless. Who wants to overclock e-cores and suck down 300 watts to do it?

terrible shits on 13900k and 14900k at like half the price and WAY more power efficient....try again

Sure, I'll pay $200 on a maybe after tuning. That makes perfect sense 🤣🤣🤣. And the 13900k is on a dead platform. Bro. I need my 90 seconds back. Stick to legos🤣🤣🤣

7800x3d, you can move the ratio right, but what about PBO2 and negative curve optimizer, hit 5.5ghz with -20 on mine. With so less power than the 13900k. Keep in mind.
